Fewer ONA courses
There are fewer and fewer courses for Orientation on the Dutch Labour Market (ONA). Sometimes you cannot take an ONA course any more. If so, you can perhaps follow the Job Market and Participation Module (MAP) instead.
Ask municipality
If you cannot take an ONA course, please ask your municipality if you can follow the MAP.
Finished MAP
Once you have completed the MAP, the municipality will inform DUO about the date of your final interview. DUO will check if you are eligible for an exemption for ONA. If you get an exemption, DUO will send you a letter that you do not need to take the ONA exam any more.
